Digital City Consulting comes from humble beginnings. Founded in 1998 in Scottsdale, Arizona, by Richard Lerner, the Company was then called Guru Computers. It was a small company comprised of 3 friends that were talented with computers and thought the world needed their computer expertise. Over the course of three years, Guru Computers quickly grew; and with a client-base of local individuals and small businesses, the Company was doing well. However, in 2001, Mr. Lerner moved from Scottdsale to New York and Guru Computers disbanded. Upon his arrival here in New York, Mr. Lerner again saw an oportunity and the demand for his talents and once again started up his business. This time he named it Digital City Consulting. Shortly in to the life of Digital City Consulting, Mr. Lerner realized that the demand for his services was greater than he could handle alone, so he partnered up with Rehan Zarak to help him operate and manage the company. The two co-managed the company until September of 2004, when Mr. Zarak left the company to persue other interests. Now the company is once again wholly managed and operated by Mr. Lenrer.

The market in New York was looking for something just like Digital City Consulting and now, they have it. There are only a handful of businesses in the New York metropolitan area that do what We do, and none of them do it as well as We do. Digital City Consulting is a complete on-site techology consulting and computer service firm that offers complete Information Technology solutions for both end-users (your average user) and small businesses alike. We offer a broad range of services, from basic one-on-one training, to complete business network design and deployment.

Currently, Digital City Consulting is a privately held firm with an operational region of downstate New York (including all of Long Island), the 5 bouroughs of New York, and northern New Jersey. We service both individuals in their homes and in their places of work, as well as small businesses in most industries.
