How do I get Digital City to come to my residence / business to do work for me?

It's simple, just call us or E-mail us and schedule appointment! It is best if call us at least 2 or 3 days prior to service however, we can do same day servicing if necessary. Visit the Contact Us section to see how to contact us to make your appointment.


Can Digital City come to my house and setup my new computer?

Absolutely! We offer a service in which we will come to your house or place of business and setup your new computer(s) and we will even give you a free basic training session on how to use them.


I recently purchased a router so I can share my high-speed internet connection on my computers. Can Digital City setup my computers with my router for me?

Yes we can. This falls under our Network installation category. We can come to your home or business and setup your computers and your router for use on a your new network. Rates for this service can be found on the Rates page and may vary with different types of networks.


How much does Digital City Consulting charge for its services?

This depends entirely on what services you need. We offer free initial consultations both on-site and over the phone to assess your needs. Once we have determined the best solution for you, we then quote a rate. Most of our rates are billed hourly and are billed upon completion of the job. Unlike most of our competition we do not charge a flat rate. Our rates vary based on job complexity, which saves you money. You can find some of our base rates on in the Rates section of the site for more information, or contact us for specifics.


What kinds of technical support does Digital City Consulting offer?

We offer several. First, we have on-site support, both for old and new clients. This includes support for work we have done and supoprting work that others have done, to the best of our ability. Next, we offer telephone support. Both existing and new clients may use this sevice, however additional fees may apply. Telephone support is available 24/7, exluding holidays. We also offer free tech support via this web site. Our on-line tech support consists of E-mail support and the Technical Support Forum, where you can post your technical or non-technical support questions and have them answered by our technical staff. Responses to Forum questions are usually answered within two business days. You can also chat with other DCC patrons there. Lastly, you can request technical support through our on-line request form. Use this for on-site technical support. All on-line support is always available, 24/7/365.


Can I post messages on the Tech Support Forum without registering?

No, at this time, you must register to post messages on the forum. The reason we require registration is to avoid advertisments and to keep the forum clean. Abuse of our old system is partially the reason we've upgraded to this newer forum. The registration is free and the information entered during the registration is used ONLY for the forum and nothing else, as per our Privacy Policy. You don't even have to put in your real information, however we do encourage it. Get creative, have fun with it! Just keep it clean. Hopefully, in time, we will allow anonymous posting again.
